Have you ever wondered where your fellow Penn State Meteorology
classmates are?
Do you ever wonder where Penn State Meteorologists are working?
What research projects have Penn State professors been leading since you graduated?
Are you a graduate student or professor looking for the perspective of an operational meteorologist?
Are you a Penn State Meteorologist who manages their own company? Are you looking for a Penn State graduate with
specific interests and qualifications?
Do you work for a company that frequently hires Penn State Meteorologists?
Are you a recent (or upcoming) graduate looking for a job?
Have you embarked on an independent research topic that needs additional data?
If you can answer yes to any of these questions, then this site is for you.
The purpose of this site is to create an archive of the meteorologists who have
been or are still affiliated with Penn State in any capacity –
student, graduate student, or faculty member.
However, we need your help! In order to create this archive, you
must sign up. By signing up, you get access to other names already
in the database, in addition to including yours. This site will not only allow your
colleagues and friends to find you, but will also enable you to find people who have the same career interests.
There is no catch. Your information is secure and will not be shared with anyone outside the
database. The only people that will see your information are other
Penn State Meteorologists that signed up. We ask that everyone
respect this privacy policy and not exploit the information of your
fellow members. We will do our best to verify that all the names in
the database are actual Penn State Mets. If you see a person on the
list that you suspect is not a Penn Stater, please let us know and
we will look into the inquiry.
Check back to PSUMA.org often to see which new members have joined.
With your help, this site can be something great for all to enjoy!
Best of all, it's FREE!
